The 2017 Los Angeles Fine Print Fair (LAPF) will be held in the Bonhams showroom in West Hollywood on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 3-5, 2017. The Pasadena Playhouse presents its first development production, under the theater's new play development program PlayWorks...Dotson Rader's GOD LOOKED AWAY starring Academy Award- and two-time Tony Award-winner Al Pacino (Scent of a Woman) as "Tennessee Williams" and co-starring two-time Tony Award-winner Judith Light (Transparent) as Williams' close friend "Estelle" and Miles Gaston Villanueva (CBS's The Young and the Restless) as "Baby." The artwork comes from a variety of genres depicting the elements, water and sky. Enjoy a pop up exhibition at GIBSON BRANDS SUNSET. "Anesthesia: The Art of Oblivion" features the works of Billy Morrison & Plastic Jesus. Since it closed in 2006, the Tower Records storefront on West Hollywood’s Sunset Strip has sat dormant, only being restored to a shade of its former glory last year by Gibson Brands Inc. 18th Street Arts Center presents "Kentrifica Is: Re-Imagining Collective Geographies" featuring the work of Kenyatta A. C. Hinkle in its main gallery. Los Angeles- and Oakland-based artist Kenyatta A.C. Hinkle brings her ongoing investigation into auto-ethnography, anthropology, museum studies, and remixing history to the Artist Lab Residency at 18th Street Arts Center from January 17 though April 7, 2017. Hinkle will weave together performance, installation, and collaborative, participatory workshops within a new, site-specific installation.
