Founded by journalist, and "Blues Mama" Kathy Leonardo (a longtime performer), the campy site has an unusual slant which will keep you entertained. Leonardo has been writing for the past 15 years about various subjects for the Huffington Post, THRIVE GLOBAL, LA Weekly, etc.

September 11, 2017:
EAT ART is delighted to announce its third artist opening at Wabi Venice (previously known as Wabi Sabi) with a reception from 6:30-8pm in the bar area. Guests are welcome to stay and order dinner as well.

September 12, 2017:
In conjunction with the Getty’s initiative Pacific Standard Time: LA/LA, LA Louver celebrates the art of Colombian-born artist Fanny Sanín. For almost fifty years, the artist has pursued a unique approach to geometric abstraction. The work of Artist Richard Diebenkorn will also be on view. September 13, 2017: 
In collaboration with Angeleno magazine, Room and Board hosts a special art show featuring works by more than 100 local, contemporary artists in support of LA Family Housing (LAFH), which is dedicated to helping people transition out of homelessness and poverty. On view thru September 24, designated artwork on display in our showroom will be available for purchase for $400 with 50% of proceeds going directly to LAFH. In Santa Monica...L.A. WOMAN is a new exhibition on view in Santa Monica and online at Saatchi Art. Curated by Saatchi Art curators Katherine Henning and Victoria Kennedy with Guest Curator Vanessa Prager, the exhibition continues its series of shows around the world.

Garboushian Gallery hosts the third solo exhibition for Los Angeles-based artist Curtis Weaver with his latest body of work in Trees in Wolves' Clothing. Although they may seem dangerous, grotesque, or horrific at first glance, Weaver's artworks toy with visual interpretation and bring larger concepts to the forefront. Contemporary gallery is pleased to present "To Take Comfort," a collection of paintings and photography by Los Angeles artist, Serge Serum. In Serum's paintings, he depicts a search for the human form and portraiture derived from abstraction. Center Theatre Group and Glorya Kaufman presents Dance at The Music Center. The Frida Fest Art & Music Festival celebrates the life and legacy of Frida Kahlo and is the premier fundraising event for The L-Project and showcases the talents of LGBTQ visual and performing artists in Southern California. The L-Project is a non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of women who identify as lesbian, bi, trans and queer through the intersection of art and technology. Its vision is to create sustainable, vibrant and inclusive communities for all LBTQ women of all ages, creeds and races living in Greater Los Angeles area.
