Frederika Roeder said she is excited to be exhibiting at the Miniature Art Show Shockboxx Project Gallery in Hermosa Beach. "Snowflower is a spiritual piece about a beautiful day at 11,000 feet high at Mammoth, Ca. above the timberline, explained Roeder. "Early Spring for skiers is magical as seedlings begin to appear amongst the barren landscape where vivid blue and sparkling white predominate the landscape as oxygen decreases. The soft snows leaves ski tracks that glimmer from the sun. The little green at that altitude is washed out against the vast sheets of snow, thus, the transparent aquas. The glass bead gel replicates the feel, look and even sound of snow and skis as they glide downhill...think of the sounds and trails we are watching right now at the Winter Olympics."
