Founded by journalist, and "Blues Mama" Kathy Leonardo (a longtime performer), the campy site has an unusual slant which will keep you entertained. Leonardo has been writing for the past 15 years about various subjects for the Huffington Post, THRIVE GLOBAL, LA Weekly, etc.

Each month the LAArtParty staff, led by Kathy Leonardo decides which events will be featured. Posted at noon on the Thursday prior to the last week of the month, LAArtParty.com features the Top Ten Art Parties, plus other fun events each month. April 1, 2017: The Bosnian Born art exhibit features acclaimed Bosnian and Herzegovinian artists coming from all corners of the world. These artists are forever connected by the experiences of their past and their unique creative spirit. The tax-deductible ticket sales and net proceeds of the art will benefit the Bosana Foundation.
April-1-2017-BosanalogoThe Bosana Foundation is a respected international advocacy organization dedicated to empowering and improving the economic and social well-being of the marginalized population in Bosnia and Herzegovina through the delivery of targeted education, scholarships and livelihood development programs.

After 4 years of touring the United States, Bosnian Born Exhibit is returning to California for the final showcase at LAM Gallery. The exhibit was originally hosted by Green Cube Gallery in Laguna Beach and was welcomed by NEFBIH in Boston, MA; Friends of BiH in Washington D.C. and finally in St. Louis, MO. The original objective of the exhibit was to commemorate 20 years since the beginning of the war by showcasing Bosnian art while securing funds for Bosana Foundation students. The exhibit was seen by thousands of attendees celebrating the creativity, perseverance and survival of the human spirit through art, design and fashion.

The exhibition will be held at 913 Highland Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90038, and will be on view until April 4th, 2017. The opening reception will take place Saturday, April 1st from 7:30-10:30pm; including a runway show and afterparty with Nebuloza. The gallery will be open Saturday April 1st through Tuesday April 4th.
